Using the site
The site is intended for people 19 years of age and older. Please use it lawfully and don’t try to interfere with it, access areas you aren’t authorized to use, or submit false or misleading information through its forms.
Our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, images, logo and other material on this site belong to RCCO or are used with permission. You are welcome to share and quote our news and advocacy material for non-commercial purposes as long as you credit the Retail Cannabis Council of Ontario and link back to the original page. For any other use, please ask us first.
Information you give us
If you apply for membership or contact us, please make sure the information you provide — including licence numbers and business details — is accurate and up to date, and let us know if it changes. How we handle that information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Information, not advice
Our advocacy updates, news, resources and event material are general information about Ontario’s cannabis retail sector. They are not legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice. Rules change, and your situation may be different, so please check with the AGCO, other regulators or your own professional advisers before acting on anything you read here.
Links to other websites
We link to other sites, such as regulators, partners and social media, because we think they’re useful. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Limits on our responsibility
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. We can’t promise it will always be error-free, up to date or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, RCCO is not responsible for any loss or damage that results from using the site or relying on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
