Ontario is proposing new enforcement powers for the AGCO to tackle illegal cannabis storefronts and unlawful online retailers. The proposed changes would allow the AGCO to inspect illegal operations, seize cannabis products and equipment, and issue administrative monetary penalties. The announcement follows years of calls from licensed retailers for stronger, more coordinated enforcement and a fairer competitive environment.
