The Retail Cannabis Council of Ontario (RCCO) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ontario’s licensed cannabis retailers through advocacy, education, and community engagement. We collaborate with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and the public to promote responsible retail practices, regulatory clarity, and sustainable growth within the sector. 

Any provincially licensed retailer with an operating retail store located in Ontario that holds a provincial license in good standing – voting memberships are limited to those retailers who do not have a corporate relationship with a Licensed Producer. 

Becoming a member of RCCO means having a strong, collective voice advocating for fair regulations, sustainable growth, and a level playing field for licensed cannabis retailers. Your membership directly supports our efforts to influence policy on critical issues like licensing density, market fairness, and combating the unregulated sector. Together, we work to ensure a thriving, responsible, and competitive cannabis retail industry in Ontario.

Membership is free for independent retailers.

Yes! You can join RRCO as an Associate member. Associate members are non-voting members of the Council that still have access to the work we do and the network we provide.
